MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global breakthroughs into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received the Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. He then joined Ozuna to record his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. Following that season, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a family of musicians both his parents are both musicians. In interviews he has described playing music as an obligation. When he was young, he taught to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. Despite initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his profession.
